bio

I was born December 19, 1990 in the most beautiful town in the world, Granada , Spain. My mum is from Alcalá la Real, Jaén, my father from Cozvijar, Granada. I went to a public school called Victoria Eugenia from 5 until the age of 11. Then I finished High School in the IES Padre Manjón of Granada. I am currently studying Computer Engineering in Madrid.

I created a blog about stuff that happened in my classes in 2004 after my parents gave me a digital camera as a Christmas present . That's when I stopped drawing and started taking pictures. I like the idea of sharing what I see around me and seeing the reactions of people from all over the world.

Photography is and, I hope, always will be a hobby, regardless of money. You can see my latest pictures in my blog in elpais.com. I also work and collaborate with some agencies like the German Bilderberg, the British The Wideangle and the American Getty Images.

I love running, playing soccer, cycling, jazz, classical and indie music. Spanish ham is delicious. I designed and coded this website. I lived in New York City and Cambridge -UK-. Physics, mathematics and computation will change everything.

To be happy is to be free of fear. The best medicine for the fear brought about by life's uncertainties is knowledge.

My Gear

The truth is your camera, lens, and computer are not the most important part of the whole process of taking a photograph. But, unfortunately, we cannot materialized our view of the world without these gadgets...yet. That's why it's good to invest some money in new and better equipment. If you are curious, this is what I use.

CAMERA

I started with a 2 megapixel point and shoot BenQ DC 3410, a present for Christmas. After that I got a Canon EOS 350D, my first reflex. Then I bought a Canon EOS 40D and since 2009 I shoot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II

LENS

I have a Sigma 10–20mm f/4–5.6, a Canon 24-105mm f/4.0L, a Canon 50mm f/1.4, a Canon 70-200mm f/4L and a Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro

COMPUTER

I organize and edit all my photos in a 15' inch Macbook Pro
